Please join us for the High Holidays. If you are not a member, but wish a place to pray, reflect, and celebrate the New Year, please contact the Temple office. We welcome you to join us for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Our Temple is home to various activities, including religious school and adult education, special lectures with guest speakers, a book club, various social activities, films, music, and a meeting place for community activities. We welcome interfaith couples and support a visible presence on the Mid-Shore.
Rabbi Peter E. Hyman has led the congregation here at Temple Bnai Israel for 16 years. We celebrate his warmth, wisdom, humanity, and contribution to interfaith dialogue here on Maryland's Eastern Shore, as he transitions to Rabbi Emeritus in November.
Rabbi Fred Scherlinder Dobb will serve as our interim Rabbi until July 2025, when our new spiritual leader begins their tenure.
