We have a strong commitment to interfaith families, welcome non-Jewish spouses as members of the congregation and provide education programs related to the lives of interfaith families.
Our Rabbi is very involved in TACL, the Talbot County-community-wide interfaith group and has served in a leadership capacity. Rabbi Hyman has been a speaker at such interfaith gatherings as the Frederick Douglass and Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial events. Rabbi Hyman often is asked to deliver sermons at other religious institutions’ services.
The congregation sponsors a wide range of community interfaith events, including:

- Interfaith Passover Seder
- Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
